UP FRONT ... Before Opening the Cover ! !

In an attempt to clarify my stance regarding President George W. Bush, I must tell my readers up front that as a Democrat, I voted for the 43rd President, Republican George W. Bush who served as our President from January 20, 2001, to January 20, 2009. He ran successfully for his second term in 2004, but I did not vote for him the second time around. He was re-elected even after the 911 disaster in New York City which took place when he was only 8 months in office. The country came together to back him, both Republicans and Democrats alike came together to show support for the President in what was considered a very serious and tragic time for the country. But the real facts were not known. THEY WILL BE SHED RIGHT HERE ON THIS WEBSITE. He was re-elected, even after the disaster in New Orleans with Hurricane Katrina, where he was criticized for a lack of proper response to a city in crisis.
In 2001, he invaded Afghanistan, to hunt down Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the New York City bombing.  Was he successful in finding him and bringing him to justice? NO. He started another war in 2003 with the Invasion of Iraq, and finally captured Sadaam Hussein as reported on December 14th, 2003. Not before the lies, deceptions and cover-ups all surfaced, Sadaam Hussein was convicted and put to death.  But why invade Iraq? President Bush said that Sadaam had weapons of mass destruction, and would not allow for inspections of his arsenal. This is another topic THAT WILL BE SHED RIGHT HERE IN DETAIL ON THIS WEBSITE.
Unlike President Obama, President Bush WAS popular during most of his first term as President of the United States. After he was re-elected, his popularity diminished greatly, until he left office as one of the least popular Presidents in American history. He became popular with the American people as he mislead them into two wars, using his powers as Commander-In-Chief far above the call of his office. AGAIN. DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED RIGHT HERE ON THIS WEBSITE OF THESE FACTS..
Last but not least, who could forget about all of the lost lives of soldiers that would be alive today if it weren't for the decisions made by this Republican president. Not only the lives of U.S. soldiers, but how about all the innocent civilian lives lost, or the use of torture on the so-called 'enemy'.
What about the depression that surfaced just as he was leaving office? Do you think by any chance that because how he handled the economy had anything to do with it.
So what did he leave for his successor, President Barrak Obama? How about 2 wars, an economy in disaster, heath care too expensive to have and Guantanamo Bay, just for starters.
